High School: Fostering Life-Long Learners
At this level the focus is on the individual where both excellence and progress are celebrated. The students of classes IX and X are prepared for the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) examination, conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education. High School teaching is built upon the academic foundations that were developed in the subjects taught during the middle school years.
The instructional program is amplified through practical opportunities for the development of leadership, service and academic enrichment through student organizations, sports teams and project works. The project work supports and extends the innate curiosity of the child and develops the attitudes and skills necessary to gain an understanding of the world around.
By the end of their time at school, the students of St. Maria De Mattias will have achieved outstanding personal success and have developed a genuine love of learning. They will continue their pursuit of education and excellence and will, above all else, leave confident and prepared to play a vital role in society.
