PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE

I am delighted to welcome you to St. Maria De Mattias school, Mysuru, the garden city and city of palaces.

I wish to take you for a quick tour to our school to understand the uniqueness of this institution, the passion, enthusiasm and commitment that Management, staff and students exhibit, making St. Maria De Mattias School, a unique and cherished place to learn.

The school, established in 2017, is founded and run by the Educational Society of the Sisters of the Precious Blood, India, well known for its holistic education and various other ministries.

When we plant a seed in the earth, we notice it is small, but we do not criticize it as 'rootless and stemless'. We treat it as a seed giving it the water and nourishment required for it to sprout. With its first shoots sprouting up out of the earth, we stand in awe of the process involved, and give the plant the care it needs at each stage of its development.

Within it at all times, it contains its whole potential. It seems to be constantly in the process of change. At each stage it is the same thing - a flower in the process of expressing its potential.

We are placed in a situation where we are called to have a personal touch with each child entrusted to our care. The profession of teaching is not just one that deals with books, computers and black boards. It is the heart of the child yearning to learn more, to experience the gentleness and warmth of its mentor, to see the radiance of a smile, to hold the strong hand of one who leads and the urge to be guided in truth, recognizing we are called to serve God through our little children.

St. Maria De Mattias School has growing qualitatively and quantitatively and continues its quest for excellence in the arena of school education.

As academic excellence is important, we also provide our students with wide range of opportunities and learning experiences beyond class rooms to be creative thinkers, problem solvers and dynamic leaders. Students Learn in an environment of mutual respect, enthusiasm and commitment.

I whole heartedly thank the parent community for their untiring support and cooperation that makes the St. Maria De Mattias family complete and meaningful.

Let every striving and endeavor of each find an expression in the academic year.

God Bless All
